Over in Galleries, our illustrious Club President has contributed some photos from the 2010 EFC Safety Seminar, held at the Detroit Yacht Club. The annual Club seminar is a mini-lecture and knowledge exchange session in which we review operating procedures, discuss any safety-related incidents from the past year (of which there were exactly zero!), and hold an open forum for members to share their flying experiences. Oh, and enjoy very good meals and libations, thanks to the outstanding DYC catering staff. A good time was had by all, as usual!

EFC Safety Seminar, at the Detroit Yacht Club. Attendance is mandatory for all pilots to maintain Club currency.

Due to heavy storms forecast for the 1st, the plane wash has been rescheduled for Sat. 5/15, at 9 AM.

Just wanted to say hi and sorry I couldn't be at my first meeting. I look forward to meeting everyone at the next meeting. Anyone that is interested in doing some flying please give me a call. I am Commercial Multi Instrument and love to fly.

The Red Bull Air Race World Championship will return once again to the Detroit River on June 5-6, 2010. The City of Windsor is hosting for the second year in a row.

Both Eximious airplanes participated in Operation Good Cheer this year. Operation Good Cheer is a charity gift giving program that features a volunteer airlift of gifts from Pontiac airport to airports all over Michigan. See the website http://www.cfsm.org/OperationGoodCheer.htm for more info.

N9090B was piloted by Eximious member Ric B. and Ed J., Ret. Col.(Full Bird) USAF. N8167F was piloted by Eximious members Eric S. and John J. Both planes ended up taking a load of gifts to Jackson airport.

Member Ric B. represented Eximious on the 80th Michigan Air Tour this past September. The Michigan Air Tour is an annual celebration of flying in the state of Michigan, focusing attention on the economic importance of aviation to the State and its communities.
